Ainsley Nies graduated from CTP in 1978. She has remained involved with the program in many aspects and received an award from the California Department of Rehabilitation for Public Service. Ainsley has also served as a member at large for a national association, Association of Rehabilitation Programs in Computer Technologies. She created and sponsors the “Al Nies” Further Award for students of CTP programming classes. Ainsley launched her consulting business in 2005 after more than two decades of programming and project management work in IT and Finance at Hewlett Packard. Ainsley joined the CTP board in 2002.

Helen Cademartori has worked in accounting and finance for the past 12 years; in the early days as a sideline while attending graduate school and becoming a mom, and then full-time for the past 8 years. She was controller of a San Francisco based recruiting firm and has worked as a consultant to sole proprietors and small businesses in manufacturing, construction, service-oriented and health care sectors for over a decade. Helen is now the Chief Financial Officer for University Health Services – Tang Center at U.C. Berkeley.

Shirley Mar joined the CTP board in 2007 and has used her business contact experience to help the CTP’s technical review board by recruiting new business volunteers for the training evaluations for students. Shirley graduated from San Jose State University with a B.A. in Social Sciences and Golden Gate University with a MBA. She is on the advisory board of the Marriot Foundation for the Bridges from School to Work Program since 2007. Shirley is currently employed at the State Compensation Insurance Fund as an Equal Employment Opportunity Coordinator. She works with employees needing reasonable accommodation in performing the essential functions of their jobs. Shirley serves on the company’s Disability Awareness Committee (DAC). She investigates sexual harassment and discrimination complaints in her assigned territory. Shirley was born and raised in the Bay Area and currently resides in San Francisco with her family.
