Maybe I’m a bit late to the game, but I’ve only just discovered Josh Blue. Wow, he’s fantastic!
A stand up comedian with cerebral palsy, Josh’s heart-warming humor breaks down stereotypes of people with disabilities.
After gaining national recognition by winning NBC’s Last Comic Standing competition, Josh appeared on Fox, CBS, ABC, NPR and MSNBC. He was the first comedian to perform stand-up on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and he was the first comic to debut on the big screen with his stand-up special, 7 More Days in the Tank. Josh has been a regular guest star on Comedy Central and remains one of the most sought after comedians on the college circuit.
Apart from his career in comedy, Josh is also a painter and sculptor. He competed in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens and still plays an active role with the U.S. Paralympics Soccer Team.
A schedule of upcoming appearances is listed on his website, but if you can’t see him in person, there’s a whole slew of YouTube clips of him performing. Just pick one (or several) and prepare to be delighted.
