News from the past…
Honored as the last CTP Programming Class of the millennium, as well as the last class to grace the “old CTP”, the students of Class 39 were recently celebrated individually and as a group at their graduation ceremony at Spat’s. Surrounded by family and friends, the students were lauded for their accomplishments at their Certification Review Board and Programming Internships.
Class 39 Internship sponsors included City of Berkeley (David Renz, Mary Beth Green), University of California Office of the President (Elizabeth Kwok), Wells Fargo Bank (Bradley Hoffman), Ed Roberts Campus (Eric Maddy), PeopleSoft (David Efferson), Kaiser Permanente (Rashmi Vakharia), (Mari Clark) and even CTP itself (Alex Tabony). David (Renz), Elizabeth, Bradley and Alex were also celebrating job or contract offers resulting from their internships. Mary Beth has since been offered a Database development position with the City of Berkeley. Bradley Hoffman was also awarded the “Outstanding Student” award from Hewlett Packard, voted on by his classmates. Congratulations Graduates, and good luck!
